Huge thanks and congratulations to local Rotarian, Tracy McCall, member of the Kamloops West Rotary Club, who will become the District Governor of Rotary District 5060 in July. From the court to the courtroom! Local lawyer Jessica Vliegenthart has officially accepted the role of Chair, Commission for Legal Matters & Eligibility of the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation. Jessica writes “As a former international wheelchair basketball player, I spent years sweating it out on the court —now I’m thrilled to bring that same energy, and slightly fewer bruises, to the legal side of sport. Grateful for the opportunity to give back to the game and the global sports community that’s given me so much. Let’s tip off this new chapter!”
