It was birthday cake for young and old on Aug. 3 during the BC Wildlife Park’s 60th anniversary celebration. The event coincided with their annual BC Bear Day celebrations and visitors were able to take part in a variety of family activities, educational programming, and commemorative events. The celebration included the unveiling of a new park mascot as well as the launch of an updated splash park, funded in part by a donation of $150,000 from three Kamloops Rotary clubs.
